Environmental Services Contract

ENSR has been placed on an approved vendors list to provide general environmental services to AAFES.  Through this contract mechanism, ENSR can be accessed to provide general environmental services at various AAFES locations.  ENSR is currently working on an Environmental Assessment to construct a lifestyle center at Fort Lewis, Washington. The lifestyle center will be an open-air shopping area, designed with elements to improve the walkability and community feel of the area, such as a main street, and a “town center” outdoor gathering area. The project will entail demolition of several buildings, construction of new retail, as well as office/and or residential space, and revitalization and reuse of a historic warehouse building. Issues of concern include air quality impacts and effects to cultural resources.
